Standing Rules

1. Annual dues are $10.00 and are due by November 1st of each year. Payments after that date will be assessed an additional $5.00.

2. Membership shall be limited to 150 coaches.

3. Rally fee will not be refunded after registration deadline unless rally host deems it appropriate.

4. Children of chapter members will be admitted free to rallies until their 13th birthday.

5. Guests may participate in rally activities and meals, but must pay a fee determined by the rally host.

6a. Checks will be signed exclusively by treasurer, secretary, and/or president. Any check over $1,000 will require two signatures.

6b. Members will not commit the chapter to any expenditure without prior approval. Approval must come from a vote by members (quorum required) during a scheduled business meeting. The expenditure is not to exceed the amount approved by the membership.

6c. The chapter chaplin is authorized to spend up to $125.00 for funeral-related expenses such as flowers or charity donations requested by the member’s family. If the anticipated expenditure exceeds the $125.00 limit, verbal approval must be given by the chapter officer.

6d. A minimum balance of $1,500.00 shall be maintained in the checking account.

7. Name tags should be worn at chapter rallies. Hospitality committee members or the sergeant at arms may collect $1.00 from any member who neglects to wear one. Monies collected will go to future social events.

8. Coaches requiring generator use for more than three hours a day at a rally must notify the host so special parking arrangements can be provided. External exhaust pipes must be used when fumes could endanger the health, safety, and lives of others.

9. Carolina Rambler members will have first preference when registering for space-limited rallies.

10. Rally fee reimbursements will be made to host and co-host. The host receives fully rally fees (limited to $50.00) and co-host recives one-half the rally fee    (limited to $25.00). Anniversary rallies will allow for one additional co-host.

11. National director will receive the rally fee for area rallies when they represent our chapter, unless compensated by FMCA.

12. Rally attendees who wish to park together with other attendees must arrive together.

13. Rally parking committee will park units as per host instructions. Attendees will follow the directions of the parking committee. Attendees who do not follow the parking rules will be asked to leave the rally.

14. Carolina Ramblers will not promote a non-Carolina Rambler rally if it conflicts with a rally sponseredby the Carolina Ramblers, with the exception of a  national FMCA event.
